Albany State falls to Morehouse, 76-55

Albany State (3-16) returned home on Monday night against Morehouse College (9-5), looking to pick up a win in conference play, but the Rams fell to Morehouse, 76-55.

Ayinde Russell led the Maroon Tigers with 23 points on 8 of 19 shooting from the field, while Robert Askew (11 points) and Miodrag Minic (10 points) also contributed in the double-digit scoring department.

The Rams fell behind Morehouse, 47 to 20, at halftime, and they were never able to create a comeback. Earl Farnum was the only Ram to reach double digits with 10 points, while Jordan Floyd provided nine points.

The Rams will play Miles College on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
