If you're looking for a part-time job, the Federal Emergency Management Agency is looking to hire people for at least 120 days, with that time possibly extended.

FEMA says that anyone interested in local hire opportunities should go to USAJOBS.gov and create a free account.

When searching, the positions typically include the words “Local Hire” in the job title.

Examples of local hire opportunities include a Site Inspector Specialist and a Public Assistance Program Delivery Manager. The positions pay $20.22 to $30.29 an hour and include sick leave and health benefits.
