A 12-year-old boy ran home, yelling "stranger danger!" after a man driving a silver Honda yelled at him to get in his car in Lantana.

The event occurred near 100 Hibiscus Tree Drive, Lantana - in the boy's own neighborhood.

After ignoring the man and walking away, the child started running home and yelling as the suspect continued to entice him into his vehicle.

This alerted a neighbor who quickly got the license plate number off the silver Honda Accord before the suspect drove away and then called 911.

Detectives from The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office's Special Investigations unit say thanks to that tip they found and arrested the suspect - Domingo Domingo Andres, 24.

After the child positively identified him, detectives say Domingo Andres confessed to trying to lure the child into his car. However, he said he only wanted to take the boy to the store to buy him food or candy.

He is currently behind bars and being charged with kidnapping, and luring.

His bond is set at $50,000.

Detectives are concerned there may be more victims and ask anyone who may have seen the suspect and/or his vehicle to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
