Wet weather expected to begin late Sunday
Dry cold front will move through the area Friday keeping clouds on top of the area all day. Temperatures will warm to near 60 degrees and cool into the upper 30s overnight. Saturday will be clear with plenty of sunshine and seasonable temperatures. The next weather maker is a little more complicated to forecast, due to the lack of agreement on some details between the global models. In general, rain is on the way. Regardless of exact details, expects showers and possibly thunderstorms (non-severe) to begin Sunday night. The big question will be whether this system clears out of the Southeast by Wednesday morning, or if it lingers through the end of the week when another front will approach from the northwest. Expect both highs and lows to be above average until the frontal system clears the region. Overall, one to three inches of rain is possible, through Wednesday, across the area. Flooding is not expected at this time.
