Two men have been arrested in connection to a shooting on Northside Drive in Valdosta Thursday night.
Valdosta police say that around 10:20 p.m., officers found that during a fight, one person had been shot multiple times.
The victim was taken to South Georgia Medical Center and remains in critical condition.
Police say that warrants were taken out against 24-year-old Marquis Walker and 26-year-old Dillion Hunter on Friday in connection to the case.
Walker has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault-felony and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Police say that Hunter, a relative of Walker, gave investigators a false name and date of birth.
Warrants for false statement-felony and giving a false name-misdemeanor have been issued against Walker.
This is the fourth shooting incident thus far in Valdosta this year.
