Tifton Chick-fil-A to hold celebration Wednesday before Thursday's reopening
The Tifton Chick-Fil-A is holding its grand reopening this Thursday.
The restaurant has been closed for renovations since February.
The new restaurant features an indoor play area, larger parking lot and drive-thru to fit 20 more cars, and a new canopy.
Chick-Fil-A said they're glad to have this day almost here.
"With that being right off the highway, that's such a pivotal location for people to stop and visit Chick-Fil-A on their way to places, so I think the community has been very patient, waiting for their Chick-Fil-A to return," Chick-Fil-A Spokesperson Cindi Pickett said.
The restaurant will be giving away a year's worth of Chick-Fil-A to the first 100 people in line. The line will open Wednesday at 6 a.m., and you have to stay the entire time until they officially open Thursday.
Chick-Fil-A will also be collecting new or gently used books for the YMCA from anyone who stops by.
