Four Albany teens have been arrested in connection to car break-ins in the Lake Park area.

Albany police say they were called about the runaway teens Saturday morning.

After talking to the oldest teen in the group, officers learned that they had been breaking into cars for the past four nights.

A backpack that was recovered had a gun that was reported stolen from an entering auto case a day earlier.

During a search of one of the teen's bedrooms, officers found additional property and later learned that more firearms were in the park at St. Teresa's School.

The teens are each facing two counts of entering auto.

If you have any information or video on car break-ins in the Lake Park area, Albany police ask to contact the Property Crimes Section of the Criminal Investigations Bureau on Monday at (229)431.3288.
