Students show improvement on majority of CRCTs
The Georgia Department of Education has released the 2012-2013 CRCT results.
On Wednesday, FOX 31 talked with two school districts about their results.
In Lee County, the 5th grade math improved 11 percent to a 98; which is eight percent higher than the state average.
In Dougherty County the school system they saw a 70 percent passing rate in all subject areas.
Gail Melvin with the Lee County school system says, "I think when we dig deeper and really look, what we want to see is get into the classes and individual students and how many of them improved, and how well did they improve."
