"I feel like he wouldn't lie about something like that," said Albany resident Jamaya Milledge. "Why would he lie about somebody allegedly attacking him."
"I think it is unfortunate for other members of the LGBTQ community that have and will continue to experience hate crimes committed against them," said one Facebook user Dasia James. "Regardless of whether Jussie is telling the truth or not, this will push back the fight for equality in our nation."
