Saturday marks 11 years since a Tifton girl disappeared, and the family of Brandi Cole is still asking for answers. They hope a vigil this weekend will help bring them out.

Cole's family is holding its annual candlelight vigil this Saturday at Fulwood Park in Tifton. The vigil runs from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.

17-year-old Cole disappeared in Tifton back in 2007.

Her family said everyone is invited to come out and light a candle in honor of Brandi and other missing kids in Tift County.

Cole's mother, Shellie Auchtung, said it would mean a lot to see the community come together to help them get answers about what happened to her daughter.

"Just helping me find mine could help save yours," Auchtung said. "What would you do if it was yours? I hope you wouldn't do no less than I have. I've kept it alive, and I'm going to continue to keep it alive until I'm no longer alive."

The vigil will take place at shelter nine, rain or shine.
