One dead in early morning accident
UPDATE 4:45 AM:
The Albany Police Departemnt tell FOX 31 that two brothers, Costanza Williams and Petrocelli Williams were traveling west on Rosebrier Avenue at a high rate of speed in a 1983 GMC 1500 truck.
The driver hit a curb, lost control of the truck and struck several objects before spinning around. The truck caught on fire before coming to rest in a yard in the 2400 block of Rosebrier Avenue.
The driver, 36-year-old Costanza Williams was pronounced dead at the scene, while his brother 39-year-old, Petrocelli Williams was sent to Phoebe for treatment.Factors/circumstances leading up to the wreck remain under investigation by the Albany Police Department's Traffic Unit.
The Albany Police Department, Albany Fire Department and EMS responded to a fatal accident in the 2400 block of Rosebrier Avenue early Wednesday morning.
Officers confirm that two black males in an older model truck struck multiple objects before crashing into a pole and catching on fire.
One passenger has been pronounced dead and the second has been transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment.
No names have been released at this time.
Traffic Investigators are on the scene and details will be provided as they become available.
