New business sets up shop in dowtown Albany Friday
Art Renaissance Cafe has been a mobile business for the past four years.
On Friday, they officially moved downtown to Front Street across from the Flint River.
The cafe is a full service art business specializing in sip and paint parties.
Original art work and graphic designs are available for purchase.
Owner Femi Anderson says she's happy to be apart of the downtown revitalization.
"We are part of the revitalization and we're trying to be in the mix of what's going on downtown and try to bring in more people. We're right across from Turtle Park which is great cause kids are across the street, parents are across the street and we just want to bring in art lovers," said Anderson.
Anderson adds that you can come and paint during both the day and night. She says she's excited to be apart of the night life in Albany.
