The Georgia Chamber of Commerce visited Moultrie Friday to discuss the "New Georgia Economy."

The New Georgia Economy is the chamber's initiative to show how quickly things are changing in Georgia, and how businesses can adapt.

On Friday, the Moultrie chamber met with the state chamber and learned how to handle those changes and embrace them to help businesses.

Chris Clark, the President of the Georgia Chamber, said the newest challenge is adapting to millennials.

"The biggest issue for businesses, though, is being able to compete for talent," said Clark. "Everyone wants young millennial work force, that's the driver. Within four years, that'll be 75 percent of Georgia's workforce will be that millennial generation and generation Z, the Zoomers, are right behind them, and so what are we gonna do to prepare folks?"

The meeting today also featured helpful tips on how to adjust to a technological takeover in your business.
