As the city of Albany looks forward to 2018, Mayor Dorothy Hubbard says she is proud of what the city has achieved in the past year.

Mayor Hubbard says she is proud of the projects and ideas brought to the table by City Manager, Latoya Cutts.

Hubbard says the goal now is to attract restaurants, retail shops and small boutiques to the downtown area.

The Mayor says she is proud of the brewery and the downtown flats that are soon to come.

"My vision is that we will have people coming in our city to go to our RiverQuarium, to go to our Civil Rights Museum, to go to Thronateeska and I'm looking forward to our Albany Museum of Art coming downtown where we have exhibits and families can come and take their children to various exhibits downtown," said Hubbard.

Hubbard wants downtown Albany to be a place for children and adults of all ages to enjoy.
