Marine returns to The Good Life City after a six-month deployment
A U.S. marine returns to The Good Life City after a six-month deployment.
This was Sergeant Joshua Roblez's first deployment, and he is very excited to be back home.
After four flight delays due to inclement weather, he made his way back to Albany, and was welcomed with open arms from other marines.
The Marine Corps Logistics Base says people don't get deployed from here very often. In fact, it's roughly one person every year.
Right before leaving for the holiday, Roblez was called into a meeting not knowing he would be asked to go to Kuwait.
"Whenever he called me in, he asked me if I wanted to go,” Roblez said. “Of course, I volunteered and said yes. Good thing I did because it was a great experience in general."
