Two men have been arrested in connection to the November 2 theft of a shotgun in Albany.

Raheem Lewis, also known as “TAZ”, turned himself in Wednesday afternoon.

30-year-old Jeremy Hutchins, also known as “Junior”, was taken into custody on November 19.

Police say that two men, later identified as Lewis and Hutchins, came in to the Oakridge Pawn Shop and asked to see an AR 12-gauge shotgun.

When they were handed the gun, they ran out of the front door of the pawn shop and got into a white Chevy four-door sedan according to officers.

Investigators with Albany police issued felony theft by taking warrants against Lewis and Hutchins. Additionally, Hutchins is facing a charge of obstruction of an officer.

The gun has not been recovered, according to investigators.
