Manhunt underway after 12-gauge shotgun stolen from Albany pawn shop
The Albany Police Department needs your help finding a man who stole a 12-gauge shotgun from Oakridge Pawn Shop on November 2.
One suspect, Raheem Lewis, also known as “TAZ”, turned himself in Wednesday afternoon. He is currently in the Dougherty County Jail.
The second suspect, Jeremy Hutchins, also known as “Junior”, age 30, is still on the run. He is wearing a green shirt in the surveillance photos.
On November 2, APD responded to the pawn shop on East Oakridge Drive about a shoplifting.
Police say that two males, later identified as Lewis and Hutchins, came in to the store and asked to see an AR 12-gauge shotgun.
When they were handed the gun, they ran out of the front door of the pawn shop and got into a white Chevy four-door sedan.
Investigators with Albany Police issued Felony Theft by Taking warrants against Lewis and Hutchins.
