Job fair highlights opportunities in 'small towns'
In Camilla, the Neighborhood Service Center teamed up with the Department of Labor to host their annual job fair Wednesday afternoon attended by over 25 employers.
The manager of the service center, Pamela Miller, says the goal is to show people while many communities in southwest Georgia are small, there are tons of opportunities for people.
Some of those opportunities available were at Pelham City Schools, Mitchell County Schools and John Deere.
Miller adds, "We just offer this every year so that we can let our community know that there are people who are concerned about homes and having opportunities to be able to take care of each other."
If you were unable to attend the fair, you can contact Miller at 229-336-5797 and she says she can provide resources to these employers.
