Albany police and the Gang Unit are investigating a shooting that took place at a college party house in the 300 block of West Roosevelt Avenue early Saturday morning.

Police say that all victims were attending a college party at a house where students host parties, when the shooting started inside and moved outside.

When officers arrived, Albany police say there was a large crowd and vehicle traffic leaving the area.

Dougherty County police officers and Dougherty County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the area to assist.

The initial officers on scene saw 23-year-old Devontra Walker on the ground in front of the house with a gunshot wound in the knee. 24-year-old Quentin Isler was also on the ground near the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Police say Isler was shot while in the front yard. Both were treated by E.M.S. on scene and transported to the Emergency Center for additional treatment.

Officers also responded to the Emergency Center after being notified that two additional gunshot victims arrived for medical treatment. 19-year-old El-Shaddai Crawford told police that he was in the living room when the shooting started and was shot in the hip. 18-year-old Tayvion Winchester told police he was also inside the house when he heard the shooting and was struck in the thigh.

During the investigation, officers were informed that two vehicles were damaged during the shooting. 19-year-old Shiiyon Jordan told police that there a bullet hole in the passenger, rear bumper area of her 2008 Dodge Avenger. 23-year-old Santo Nino's 2013 Dodge Avenger was also hit by a bullet in the bottom of the passenger side front door. Police say that both of the cars damaged were parked in the 300 block of West Roosevelt Avenue when the shooting began.

In the initial stages of the investigation, police say the suspect is an unknown black male, wearing a gray hoodie and armed with a handgun. Police say that the suspect may be driving an older, white, Crown Victoria.
