Flint RiverQuarium prepares for Earth Day celebration
The Flint RiverQuarium is teaming up with Southwest Georgia Master Gardeners to bring an Earth Day celebration to Albany.
They'll have different organizations and exhibits that focus on Earth's natural resources and what we can do to protect it.
The annual event also helps educate people on the environmental movement.
All Earth Day activities are free. The celebration will be on Saturday.
Malloree Lanier with the Flint RiverQuarium says it is such an important event, "It's really fun because you get to invite a bunch of people to just come out and celebrate the Earth and the great planet we live on to kind of help promote conserving and preserving it as well."
