East Albany restaurant gives out free meals on Thanksgiving
One East Albany restaurant spent Thursday making sure no one would go hungry this Thanksgiving.
For the third year in a row, Brothers NY Pizza spent the afternoon handing out warm meals to the people of East Albany.
Restaurant owner Ivan Vega drove around town, providing transportation for anyone in need of a warm meal.
Vega says it's all about giving back to the people of East Albany who he loves.
"My favorite part is hearing the stories, just seeing the people happy, the smiles when they come out of here," said Vega.
According to Vega, the restaurant made enough to feed four hundred people.
Vega says that if any food is left over, it will be sent to the Albany Police Department and the Sheriff's Office.
