CTAE meeting aims to prepare students for success
On Thursday, Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) held a regional economic development meeting.
This was the 4th of six meetings to engage education and industry.
The meeting was a discussion about the connection between education and economic development, specifically in the ag-tech fields.
About 100 educators, business leaders and legislators were present at the meeting.
The goal of CTAE is to prepare students to be successful as they transition to college and the workforce.
The CTAE director, Barbra Wall, shared the primary goal of this morning’s meeting.
She shared, ”Today we’re mainly focusing on student’s success in the fields of career tech and ag-tech students.”
There will be two more of these meetings before next year.
