Boys and Girls Club makes Christmas presents for the elderly
ALBANY, Ga. —
Kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Albany are getting crafty with their service project of the season.
They are hand making warm and fuzzy scarves to give to the elderly in town. Once the scarves are made, they’ll deliver them to people at different nursing homes.
According to executives, the community is always giving to the Boys and Girls Club, and this is a way to repay through service.
“During this holiday, we wanted to make sure our club members understood the importance of giving back,” Jaqueline Robinson, Programs and Operations Director, said. “No act of kindness is too small. No gesture is too large.”
