Two in custody after deadly shooting at convenience store

Two men have been arrested after a deadly shooting that happened Friday evening.

Police say that a 26-year-old Michael Taylor was killed at June Bug's Convenience Store in the 1900 block of South Madison Street.

Police report that Taylor was an innocent bystander that tried to break up a fight between 22-year-old Brandon Brown and 22-year-old King Barber Jr.

During the fight, both of the men fired at each other and Taylor was struck during the exchange.

Brown and Barber turned themselves in and are being charged with felony murder and aggravated assault.
