ALBANY, Ga. (WFXL) -- The Albany Exchange Club honored local law enforcement Friday afternoon.
Various agencies, including the Albany Police Department, Dougherty County Sheriff's Office, Lee County Sheriff's Office and Georgia State Patrol were present.
The officers were invited to lunch as Exchange Members paid their respects to them.
"In Exchange, our mission is to make the community a better place to live and of course our police officers give of themselves to help that go and we just like to say thank you," said even chairman Thomas Knighton.
Next week, the club will honor the Lee County football team for winning the state championship.
