Albany Art Museum celebrates one year, post 2017 storms
It's been a year since the Albany Art Museum has re-opened.
The museum was damaged after the storms in 2017.
Since then the museum says it's been a long road to recovery but they say they're back on their feet.
Jim Hendricks, the director of marketing and public relations, says the past year has been jam-packed with different events and galleries.
Hendricks shares why it's so important the museum recovered from the storms, "The Albany Art museum is a cultural hub in Southwest Georgia. There are artist and things that you can't see anywhere else."
The museum is now preparing for their ChalkFest event that's happening next month.
