A new business continues to thrive in The Good Life City
ALBANY, Ga. —
New businesses continue to thrive in Albany, and one popular restaurant doesn't look like it'll be slowing down anytime soon.
If you've been to Newk’s Eatery, you know that it's packed most of the day.
It's only been open for a little over the month, and the community's response to the new eatery is favorable.
Albany has seen multiple new businesses come to town within the past few months.
Experts say research needs to be done in order for it to see if it'll be successful in smaller cities.
Although we can get pizza or sandwiches almost everywhere, the community seems to be responding well to having pizza, subs, soups and salads all in one spot.
Management says the major key to success for new businesses in a new town is relating to customers.
"You need to be customer orientated,” Edgardo Acevedo, Newk’s General Manager, said. “You need to know what the customer wants in order to be able to provide it for them."
Many of the employees at Newk’s are from this community adding another benefit to why new businesses should make their way to Albany.
