It's always been Miami for Albany High School senior Juwon Young. On Tuesday, he signed on the dotted line.
The linebacker is ranked by rivals.com as the 65th best recruit in the state of Georgia. He committed to Al Golden's program over the summer. He had offers from several other schools, including Mississippi and North Carolina.
Young is getting an early start on his freshman season. He finished enough credits to graduate with a semester left at Albany High, and he will move to South Florida as an early enrollee in early January. He said his visit to the University of Miami sealed the deal for him.
"It took me to go personally visit that school for me to know where I stand and how many people are in my position before I get there to make me choose the school that I wanted to choose," Young said.
