After rainouts affected high school baseball on Tuesday, the games continued on Wednesday.
Lee County is moving to 6A-1 in all sports next year, and they got a taste of life with the big boys on Wednesday night when the Trojans fell to Colquitt County, 7-5. Lee's bats got hot in the middle innings, but it wasn't enough to erase an early four-run deficit.
In 4A-1, Westover got a much needed win over Monroe, 10-2. The Patriots scored eight runs in the first two innings and got a complete game from Terrance Mosley.
Elsewhere in 4A-1, Worth County topped Albany and Crisp County got an out-of-region victory over Hardaway.
