Two Dougherty Trojans will be playing college football next fall.
Jaylon Scott and Travis Griffin announced that they will be playing at Arkansas Baptist College.
Dougherty coach Corey Joyner said both kids have plenty of upside. Griffin has only played two years of football and will grow as a defensive end in college. Scott will play linebacker, and hopes to grow into the position at the next level.
Both players are humble and hungry.
"Coming off the ball more," Griffin said on what he wants to improve. "Faster, get stronger, quicker."
His teammate has similar improvement goals.
"I want to be quicker and faster," Scott said. "And much stronger."
