Trojans use summer ball to prep for 2015
For Lee County baseball, the 2015 season has already begun.
The Trojans continued their summer baseball season on Wednesday when their JV and varsity teams swept Bainbridge.
But for Brandon Brock and his kids, results aren't as important as repetition. The June summer ball season is a great time for his hitters to get some at-bats and for his pitchers to face live hitting.
It's also a time for Lee County to plant the seeds of success for next year.
"We want to work on team goals with personal growth," Brock said.
Summer baseball exhibitions last until the end of June.
