The 2014 Golden Rams basketball team camp began on Friday.
Teams from all over Southwest Georgia and other parts of the state converged on Albany State for a weekend of games. There are leagues for all levels â" varsity, junior varsity, and middle school. Games are split into two 18-minute halves.
Coaches like to see their teams improve the execution of x's and o's, but also build important habits that will help the team's chemistry during the regular season.
Also, everybody gets to play.
"You can get a lot of guy's minutes," said Worth County assistant coach Pat Marshall. "To really see what they do in game-like situations."
The camp ends with more games on Saturday.
