Tift County's Tadric Jackson committed to Georgia Tech on a basketball scholarship on Wednesday.
Jackson, a point guard under Head Coach Eric Holland at Tift County High School, is a four star recruit who selected Georgia Tech over Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. He is widely considered to be one of the best high school basketball players in the state of Georgia. He indicated that playing in the ACC was a major factor in his decision.
Jackson is a 6-foot, 2-inch lefty who scored over 20 points six times last season. He will play point guard for the Yellow Jackets under Brian Gregory. Jackson is Georgia Tech's first commitment in the class of 2014.
