Rams, Indians play while other schools postpone games
Most schools postponed Tuesday night's basketball games due to bad weather. But Albany and Worth County decided to play through it.
The girls' game tipped off at 4:30 and the Lady Indians held on for the region victory by a score of 39-30. In the boys' game, the Rams weathered a late Albany charge and held on to win, 80-77. The win kept Worth County atop the region standings.
There were also plenty of postponements on Tuesday night.
In 4-A, Crisp County and Westover agreed to tip off on Thursday night. Lee County and Bainbridge called off their 5-A game, but no makeup date has been scheduled yet.
In the GISA, Deerfield-Windsor and Brookwood agreed to play on February 8th, while Sherwood Christian and Terrell Academy rescheduled their game for February 10th.
