Rams are refreshed after bye week

At 1-3, Albany State football is in an unfamiliar position. So the bye week may have come at the perfect time.

After their third loss of the season to Miles College on September 28th, head coach Mike White's team used the week off to rest, heal, and improve.

Unfortunately, the Golden Rams are still dealing with injuries to wide receiver Jessie Atkins and defensive back Armageddon Draughn. Still, White and the coaching staff think ASU comes out of the bye week a better team.

They'll have to prove it on the road against Lane College on Saturday afternoon.

"I thought we had a good week of preparation," White said. "I think we'll be fine."
