Panthers Breathe Sigh of Relief against Louisiana

The Albany Panthers can finally exhale after what has been a grueling month and a half for the local franchise. The three game losing streak is over.

Albany defeated Louisiana, 45-42 Saturday with the defense performing at its highest level of the season. The Panthers responded for a comeback victory trailing, 21-14 during a miserable first half.

Albany continued its home winning streak. The Panthers haven't lost at the Albany Civic Center since 2011.

Returning to the road next week, Albany faces Lehigh Valley for the first time in franchise history. The teams will meet twice in the final four games of the season.
