For the 28th consecutive year, the Nancy Lopez Hospice Golf Classic returned to Southwest Georgia.
Participants played through the cloudy morning and the warm, sunny afternoon at Doublegate Country Club in Albany.
Lopez was stationed at the 11th hole, where she putted with other players. She couldn't tee off due to an elbow injury.
The LPGA star is pleased with the growth of the charity event over the years.
"The support of the community has been just awesome," Lopez said.
Proceeds benefit services offered through the Albany Community Hospice and the Willson Hospice House.
