Lee County is home to another up and coming athlete.
On Saturday night, Lee County High School quarterback Stephen Collier was named a finalist for the National Elite 11 quarterback camp.
Collier competed at the Atlanta regional, and will now move on to the Elite 11 Finals held at the University of Oregon at the end of June.
The junior Trojan was a first team AAAAA-Region 1 selection last year with 33 passing touchdowns and 11 rushing.
Collier has received offers from Wake Forest, Cincinnati, UAB amongst multiple others. Lee County head coach Dean Fabrizio says Ohio State, Florida State, Auburn, Vanderbilt and North Carolina are still recruiting the quarterback.
The Elite 11 camp is a passing competition held for the nation's top quarterback prospects. The list of notable Elite Eleven alumni includes Andrew Luck, Matthew Stafford and Tim Tebow.
