The Paradise Public Fishing Area and Tifton Kiwanis Club hosted the 23rd annual Kids' Fishing Day on Saturday.
Families flocked to the Paradise grounds for a morning of fishing. The ponds were stocked with fish, and some were as large as five pounds. They also had a fishing simulator and held a casting contest.
"It's a great family day," said Noel Jackson, area manager at Paradise PFA. "You should see the excitement on those kids' faces when they're reeling in that catfish."
