The Marine Corps Logistics Base held their 26th annual buddy fishing tournament on Saturday.
Kids fifteen and younger partnered with adults at the Covella Pond from 8:30 to 10 A.M. The base worked with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to stock the pond with thousands of channel catfish.
Trophies were awarded for biggest catfish and most catfish caught.
It was a great morning on the pond, and it's an event the MCLB will host every year.
"The kids have a great time," said Julie Robbins, MCLB's Natural Resource Manager. "And it keeps mom and dad pretty busy."
