Crisp County basketball player Kayla Green signed a letter of intent with Fort Valley State on Friday.
According to Cougars coach Barrett Wilkes, Green is a wing player with a scoring touch and slashing ability. She chose to be a Lady Wildcat because of the coach, Erica Henry, and the style of play.
She knows she has plenty of development in front of her, but she still hopes to contribute immediately.
"I want to play," Green said. "I want to work to start and get a lot of playing time."
Green's sister, Keidra, plays basketball for rival Albany State.
