University of Georgia basketball coach Mark Fox and offensive coordinator Mike Bobo stopped in Tifton on Wednesday evening.
It's just one of the many "UGA Days" put on by the school's alumni association. Fox and head football coach Mark Richt made an appearance in Albany on Monday.
"These are passionate fans," Bobo said. "They care about Georgia football and what's going on at the University of Georgia."
"South Georgia's an important part of this state," Fox said. "For us to be able to come down tonight and spend some time with people I think is important."
Both coaches are optimistic about their teams next season.
Fox's basketball program is coming off a winning season and returning most key pieces. With a stronger non-conference schedule, they expect to be in the NCAA Tournament in 2014-2015.
Bobo is getting new starting quarterback Hutson Mason acclimated to running the offense and expects the unit to be ready to produce when the season starts against Clemson on August 30th.
