First State Soccer Appearance for Deerfield Soccer

The banner season continues. The Deerfield Windsor girls soccer team advanced to the GISA-AAA state title game for the first time in school history, defeating Westminster 5-2.

The school's new career scoring leader, Casey Kincheloe, added to her goal total and received some help from younger sister, Haley Kincheloe and Cheyenne Colvin.

Leading 2-1 at halftime, the Lady Knights scored three goals holding their advantage throughout the second half.

Deerfield advances to play Stratford Academy in the GISA Championship May 11 at Stratford. The Lady Knights lost to the Lady Eagles early in the regular season, 6-0.
