Two Mitchell County football players signed with Point University on February 6th. On Wednesday, the Skyhawks added another Southwest Georgia talent.
Dougherty High's Ricardo Sloan played a little of everything with the Trojans, but he'll be a receiver with Point. Sloan envisions himself as a slot wideout.
Dougherty head coach Corey Joyner raved about Sloan's work ethic on and off the field, and Sloan understands his priorities going forward.
"My primary is academics, secondary is football," Sloan said. "I'm majoring in physical therapy."
