Darton golf gets off to a good start

Even after a coaching change, Darton golf appears to be as stable as ever.

The Cavaliers started the 2013 season by placing third at the Wallace State Invitational in Cullman, Alabama. Only Central Alabama and Wallace State finished ahead of the Cavaliers in the twelve team tournament. Taylor Martin and Joshua Glossop finished in the individual top five and were named to the all-tournament team.

Over the summer, Bill Jones III resigned and former head coach, Dale Dover, assumed his old role on a temporary basis. He then brought on former Cavalier Chris Hilton as a coach in training.

Even with all the changes, the Darton golf tradition is rolling right along. They'll resume their season at the Thomas University Invitational at the end of the month.
