      Crisp Academy Clinches Another Final Four Trip

      Strange day for Crisp Academy-- a day of second round survival.

      Crisp Academy couldn't secure a position of dominance against Robert Toombs on Friday. Still, the Wildcats secured another trip to the GISA-A Final Four with an 8-5, 14-11 sweep.

      In game two, Crisp Academy used seven runs in the final two innings for the come from behind victory. Georgia Southern signee Jordan Howard pitched for the first time in the playoffs, earning the win in two innings of work.

      All-state pitcher Rush Brown won game one for the Wildcats constantly preventing the big inning by Robert Toombs. The visiting team stranded 13 runners on base in the opening game loss.

      Crisp Academy travels to Bethlehem Christian for the GISA-A Final Four. Same time, same place as last season, the Wildcats are hoping for the same outcome after winning their 2012 semifinal series at Bethlehem.
