Earlier this week, Colquitt County's Jamiyus Pittman changed his commitment from Mississippi to Central Florida.
Pittman was committed to Ole Miss, but once he broke his fibula in September, his recruitment changed. The Rebels wanted the defensive tackle to grayshirt.
At UCF, Pittman likes his chances of seeing the field sooner. He fits well into their 3-4 scheme and felt wanted by George O'Leary and his coaching staff.
Last week's Fiesta Bowl victory over Baylor didn't hurt either.
"I kind of felt like they were going to win," Pittman said. "But that just put the icing on it."
Pittman won't sign his letter of intent until signing day.
