Colquitt County pursues further playoff push

The Colquitt County Packers expected to be in this position in August. Now that it's late November, Rush Propst's team is focusing on seizing the moment.

"It's time for us to go win a state championship," said senior Mike Parrish.

Colquitt County has cruised through the first two rounds of the playoffs. On Friday night, they'll face Dacula on the road in the state quarterfinals.

The Packers coaching staff has stressed the importance of dominating the line of scrimmage this week. But they've also made sure the team is maintaining ultimate focus for three more games.

"We want to be that special group," said senior Jamiyus Pittman. "We want to go win a state championship."
