Colquitt County Focused on Full Circle

Past seasons illustrate that the Colquitt County Packers have repeatedly come too close to not win a state title.
This year, for the state's second ranked team, it's about closing in the full circle. The Packers start the 2012 season in the Georgia Dome and they intend to close their 2012 season on the same Georgia Dome turf.
Colquitt County opens the year against North Gwinnett in Saturday's Corky Kell Classic. While, of course, the GHSA-6A State Title game will be in the dome, as well.
There's no reason to doubt that the Pack won't be back in 2012- just look at the past results.
"We've beat on the door for three straight years. In '09, we lost to the State Champions, '10â|we lost in the Dome in the State Championship game, and then last year, obviously, losing to the state champions again on a controversial call. At the end of the deal, you know, we're close," Head Coach Rush Propst said.
The Packers are banking on a powerful offense behind quarterback- wide receiver tandem, Cole Seagraves and Bobby Hill. While Florida-bound offensive lineman Octavius Jackson anchors a versatile offensive front.
