Cavalier Baseball Hits All-Time High

It was only a matter of time before the Darton College baseball team started earning some national recognition. The Cavaliers have compiled a 15-2 record in March and have outscored their opponents by 98 runs.

Darton's scorching month has paid off in the national rankings. For the first time in program history, the Cavaliers are included in this week's rankings as the 12th best team in the country.

Darton is the only team from Region 17 to be included in the polls. Middle Georgia and Georgia Perimeter sit just outside the top 20 in the receiving votes category.

Darton is anchored by sophomores Kevin Manos and Matt Aldrich. Currently, Manos leads NJCAA-Division 1 with 47 RBI's. Pitcher Matt Aldrich earned his sixth win of the season in a 17-4 victory over Andrew College on Tuesday.

The Cavaliers finish their series with Andrew College hosting a Friday night game and a Saturday doubleheader.
