ASU Volleyball starts conference tournament

It's been an up and down volleyball season at Albany State, but they might be peaking at the right time.

After finishing the regular season with two consecutive victories, the Lady Rams start the S.I.A.C. tournament on Wednesday at 4 P.M.

Even though Robert Skinner's team has the honor and advantage of hosting the tournament, he knows his girls will have to play excellent volleyball to win and earn a shot at regionals. But with the defensive strides ASU has made, they'll enter the tournament as a confident three seed.

"I think we're starting to peak," said senior Jillian Anderson. "I'm feeling really good about coming in to the tournament this year."
